Texas football coach Mack Brown is back from vacation and plans to talk to Sergio Kindle about possible punishment for the linebacker from his car accident last month.
Kindle was believed to be texting at the time he crashed into a West Campus apartment block causing $8,700 in damages.
This isn’t the first time that Kindle has been in trouble over traffic offences. He was arrested in 2007 for drunk driving. Sergio Kindle has denied that he was drinking in his latest accident.
Brown suspended Kindle for three games in 2007 after the drunk driving incident but it’s not likely that he’ll be suspended this time around and will probably just get a slap on the wrist.
Texting while driving has become a huge problem of late and Brown said that he’ll be talking to the own Texas Longhorn team about the consequences of such actions.

Sergio Kindle Crash
Sergio Kindle could prove to be a challenge for the Texas Longhorns publicity department after he crashed his car into an Austin apartment on June 24.
While the investigation is currently on hold pending a response from the apartment owner, it is known that his car ran off the road and into the exterior wall of the apartment complex at 1.50 a.m. causing around $8,700 in damages.
It is believed that text messaging was the reason that Kindle lost control of his vehicle.
Kindle is currently the Longhorn’s top returning player this season as linebacker-end.
